Anonymous is the news website of the Anonymous social media brand, one of the most followed independent social media brands focused on young audiences. Our community on Facebook alone is about 11 million followers, and we also publish on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, Threads, LinkedIn and Pinterest.
We began as a social community that shared stories people cared about. This website is where that community comes for fuller reporting, verified facts and the context behind the headlines.
The website is published by Anonymous Group Inc, a privately owned media company.
Our mission

Our use of technology

AI is never used to depict or alter real people. Images created with AI are labeled “AI-generated illustration | AIAC” in their captions, so readers always know what they are looking at.
Independence and funding
Anonymous Group Inc is a privately owned company. We are funded by advertising, including Google AdSense and other advertising partners, by brand partnerships and by affiliate commissions from our Shop. We receive no government or political funding.
