Karine Jean Pierre calls the White House ‘broken’ and leaves the Democratic Party. But is it bold truth or political betrayal?

In a political twist that’s left Washington insiders stunned, Karine Jean Pierre... the former White House Press Secretary for President Joe Biden has gone rogue.

She’s written a new book, Independent, and in it, she doesn’t hold back. The title alone says a lot, but the shattered glass on the cover says even more. This is not your average political memoir... this is a full-on break from the party that once championed her as a rising star.

The White House, she claims, is “broken.” And now she’s officially left the Democratic Party to become an Independent.

From Spokesperson to Political Outsider

Karine Jean-Pierre spent years at the front of the political stage. As Biden’s voice at the podium, she defended him through thick and thin... questions about his age, his health, even his decisions.

Many saw her as a loyal messenger. But behind the scenes, it appears a different story was unfolding.

In her book, she pulls no punches. According to promotional materials from publisher Hachette, Independent is “a look inside a broken White House, outside the party lines.” They promise “clear arguments” and “provocative evidence” about what’s really going on in Biden’s orbit.

And that’s what’s shaking D.C. right now.

Fallout from Former Colleagues

Reactions to her announcement came fast... and they were brutal.

Some Biden officials took to private group chats...and not-so-private social media posts. to vent their frustrations. One anonymous former official told DailyMail.com: “Probably best to purge the party of our most delusional and self-serving personalities.”

Another added, “I laughed reading her book announcement... when our party failed to make a compelling argument for Democrats with her as one of our most visible messengers.”

Even Symone Sanders-Townsend, a former advisor to Vice President Kamala Harris, jumped in with a cryptic X post: “A lot of group chats were revived today.” It was followed by a smiling-crying emoji.

If Karine thought her exit would go quietly... it didn’t.

The Grift Accusation

Several former colleagues didn't just question her message... they questioned her motives.

One operative called the book “the most grift-y thing I’ve seen in a long time... and that’s saying something in Washington.”

It’s true that Karine didn’t land the TV deal many expected. Unlike her predecessor Jen Psaki... now a top MSNBC host... Karine reportedly struggled to lock in a media role after leaving the podium.

This has led some to argue that the book is more about cashing in than speaking out.

But to others, it’s not so simple.

Is This Political Courage?

Some political analysts see her move as a rare act of independence in a hyper-partisan world.

Leaving a major party.. especially one that launched your career... isn’t easy. And calling out a sitting president you once served is even harder.

In the book, she urges Americans to “vote their values and maintain individuality within party lines.” That’s a message a lot of frustrated voters might relate to.. especially in 2024, when both major parties face growing disapproval from their bases.

Whether it’s bravery or betrayal... people are paying attention.

Timing Is Everything

Karine’s announcement comes at a moment when the Biden administration is under pressure.

CNN anchor Jake Tapper and Axios reporter Alex Thompson just released Original Sin, a damning book that claims the White House has covered up signs of Biden’s mental decline. The timing of Independent couldn’t be more critical... or more controversial.

Karine might say she’s speaking her truth. Critics say she’s kicking her former boss while he’s down.

Both might be true.

What’s Next for Karine?

Karine Jean-Pierre now joins a small but growing number of high-profile political figures stepping away from the two-party system. Whether she plans to run for office, take on a media role, or simply become a thought leader, her future is wide open.

But the door she just closed behind her... was a very big one.

You can’t call the White House “broken,” leave the party, and expect a warm welcome back. This move was bold. Maybe even reckless. It’s left her isolated... but also, finally, in full control of her own voice.

She are not afraid to talk now. And maybe she don't care who it upset.
